The Legend of Gaia Book 1: Age of Discovery

There was once an empire that encompassed the entire world of Gaia, and the planet itself was named in the empire’s honor. Yet as powerful as the empire was, it eventually couldn’t control the lands it had in its borders. And over the course of time, the capital city of that empire disappeared and was never seen or heard from again, as it passed into history, then to legend, then to myth. However, a young man accidentally discovered that ancient city to not only be still alive, but thriving to a point, and after learning its history along with that city’s princess, discovers that his home nation is planning on creating a worldwide empire of their own and they plan on ruling with an iron fist. The young man then travels with the princess to his home country and joins with a resistance group, and comes across a series of discoveries that could not only determine their fates, but the fate of the whole world itself, both politically, and literally.
